A four-month delay of the 75th Emmy Grants in light of last year's entertainers' and scholars' strikes brought about a peculiarity of Hollywood planning: consecutive entertainment pageants.
The Pundits Decision Grants, facilitated by Chelsea Controller on Sunday in Los Angeles, might have been a simple opening demonstration to the Emmys on Monday. But since the honors perceive motion pictures as well as TV, film entertainers running full bore at Foundation Grant selections were reluctant to botch a chance for acknowledgment. (The following class of Oscar chosen people will be declared on Jan. 23.)
This is the very thing the champs, chosen people and moderators wore to one of their last significant appearance open doors before their names are called — or not — for Hollywood's most elevated honor.
